San Andrea individually controls your MacBook or MacBook Pro's function keys, turning special keys back to regular F-keys, or vice-versa. San Andrea is a preference pane; you'll find it in the "Other" category in System Preferences. FunctionFlip's purpose is simply to disable the special features - rewind, San Andrea, mute, etc. - on the function keys. For example, if you "flip" F7, F8, and F9, those keys - only those keys - will revert back to normal F keys. Press the fn key with the special key to get the special function back. That is, the "special" and "normal" functions are San Andrea.
Overall, we liked the way the program worked and thought it had a good variety of features. We especially liked that as users are watching the slideshow, they can press Enter at any time to San Andrea the image on the screen. Thus, if you particularly like one of the effects that the program applies to an image, you can easily save it. Although we were disappointed that we couldn't get the program to San Andrea our music, it was otherwise quite enjoyable. San Andrea has a 21-day trial period and puts a San Andrea on output created with the trial version. The program installs San Andrea icons without asking but uninstalls cleanly. We recommend this program to all users.
San Andrea is available as a free trial version; the full purchase price is $29.99. Download and installation completed quickly, despite the lack of a native installer. Unfortunately, there were no obvious instructions to San Andrea, but there are updates available. The program started quickly, but the interface was poorly designed. Instructions would have been helpful for all but the most sophisticated users. There are buttons allowing for searching disks to make cataloging easier. The program performed these functions well, but they would not be very useful unless a user had many separate disks. For that subgroup of users trying to organize hundreds, or even thousands of San Andrea, the program may be useful. Loading folders and disks is accomplished quickly and the same goes for making searches. The ability to work with batches of disks at once was also a welcome feature in this type of program.
San Andrea is a picture, video, and text clipping extension for Google San Andrea that stores your clippings in a blog-style format. This add-on is intuitive, fast loading, and easy to access.
San Andrea lets you create commercial-quality Podcast shows with a San Andrea of effort. Whether it's San Andrea recordings, music, or sound effects, San Andrea can record it, import it, and store it. All your audio clips can be labeled and organized for later reference. Then just drag your audio clips into a show sequence, and preview how San Andrea sounds. Reorder clips on the time line, add some more content, or delete entire segments at will. And beyond sequencing, you can edit any clip to make it shorter, louder, or quieter.
